Hazel Woodus is a innocent gypsy girl living in the woods in the company of the wounded animals in her rural surroundings. Unfortunately for Hazel, she is not blessed with the presence in her life of a partner who can share both the physical and spiritual aspects of life with her. Her innocent exuberance catches the eye of the kindly minister, Edward Marston, and the cruel squire, Jack Reddin. She eventually marries Edward, but their love remains unconsummated as Edward feels he must preserve her innocence and suppress his own desires. But Hazel has desires of her own which she doesn't understand, and she starts finding herself drawn to Reddin's power and virility.

A superhero space opera for grownups. For fans of Guardians of the Galaxy, Thor (the good one), or Invincible.Did you enjoy Dragonball Z but wish it had a little more hard science fiction in it?The il'Drach Empire spans half a galaxy, built on the feet and fists of their Powered hybrid children. At eight Rohan of Earth learned that he was only half human. By sixteen he was an active superhero, using his inherited powers to fight crime, in mask and spandex. At twenty-two he left his home to fight for the his father's people, expanding the il'Drach Empire and protecting it from local and interdimensional threats. At thirty-two, exhausted by ten years of ruthless warfare, he retired to Wistful, a vast sentient independent space station, to try to live a normal life. With a steady job, someone far out of his league to date, and the most cosmopolitan selection of fine dining in the sector, things are looking up.Then a long dormant wormhole in Wistful's system is opened by a ship full of refugees, drawing unwanted attention from the Empire. The appearance of the refugees sets off a chain of events that will force Rohan to confront his checkered past and cast doubt on whether he can ever leave behind his violent warrior heritage. To keep his friends safe, and himself in one piece, Rohan has to face giant insects, body-skipping assassins, vengeful armored aliens, an inquisition of intelligent bears, and a team of his fellow hybrids. The open question is whether tapping into his savage alien powers will end up destroying the peaceful life he has been trying to build.

All the way through his life journey, Akbar Jaffari intensely suffered from anxiety and agony. Although he was progressing through external life, his inner life remained torturous—until the day he asked himself why he was still unhappy and restless. As he set down a new path to awakening, he studied hundreds of religions and sciences and attended over eight hundred classes, seminars, and ashrams within diversified cultures. As a result of his successful quest to seek and embrace bliss, he decided to document his teachings and present it to all those seeking the truth . In a holistic guide to living in peace and harmony, Jaffari travels through eight thousand years of lost directions and instructions to provide realistic, practical approaches to returning to the true self, reconnecting with divine forces, and allowing the universe to manifest its purposes. Through his insights and wisdom, Jaffari details the journey to first seek purpose and then understand the birth of ego, the irrationality of the mind, workplace challenges, the identification of ego-based needs, the difference between being and doing, the madness of the world, and much more. Ascend the Depth: Righteous Rise guides those in search of the true self to dissolve their contaminated memories, unwrap conditioned perceptions, release the ego, and ultimately discover happiness.
