This book includes numerous calculations for the many specific examples included within. I have included the many calculated examples to provide the reader with immediate justifications for the numerous concepts described. This was not done to belittle or talk down to the reader but rather to give the reader a clear sense of the plausibility for the propulsion methods and performance capabilities thereof. Interstellar travel at the many specific highly relativistic velocities contemplated in this bookand, in some cases, extreme vehicle massesis still a very controversial subject but nonetheless a highly mathematicalized and intelligible subject. My hope and intention is to thus clearly inspire and show the reader the plausibility of the concepts by providing the reader with proper evidence through his or her simple inspection of the formulas and values included in the computations. Some speculative physics is included, which is based on commonly presented theoretical constructs.

Customs officers sometimes come across wildlife crimes during the course of their duties. They arrest offenders and prosecute them. However, in order to strengthen their cases and get convictions, they need to handle wildlife crime cases and evidence resulting from wildlife crimes in a proper manner and in accordance to the law. Mismanaging cases and mishandling evidence can lead to acquittals of offenders which is not ideal as the aim is to deter offenders. This Handbook provides reference materials and information for trainees on training modules and content to assist them to properly manage wildlife crime cases and handle evidence in such a way that it is admissible in court and leads to the desired case outcomes. The Handbook has seven modules that address the basics of wildlife crime and wildlife laws and then delves deeper into more technical subjects of wildlife crime investigations and prosecution. The modules also tackle human rights in law enforcement as this is an emerging issue facing any law enforcer handling persons who come in conflict with the law.

The Oxford Handbook of the Study of Religions provides a comprehensive overview of the academic study of religions. Written by an international team of leading scholars, its fifty-one chapters are divided thematically into seven sections. The first section addresses five major conceptualaspects of research on religion. Part two surveys eleven main frameworks of analysis, interpretation, and explanation of religion. Reflecting recent turns in the humanities and social sciences, part three considers eight forms of the expression of religion. Part four provides a discussion of theways societies and religions, or religious organizations, are shaped by different forms of allocation of resources (i.e., economy). Other chapters in this section consider law, the media, nature, medicine, politics, science, sports, and tourism. Part five reviews important developments, distinctions, and arguments for each of the selected topics. The study of religion addresses religion as a historical phenomenon and part six looks at seven historical processes. Religion is studied in various ways by many disciplines, and this Handbook shows that the study of religion is an academic discipline in its own right. The disciplinary profile ofthis volume is reflected in part seven, which considers the history of the discipline and its relevance. Each chapter in the Handbook references at least two different religions to provide fresh and innovative perspectives on key issues in the field. This authoritative collection will advance thestate of the discipline and is an invaluable reference for students and scholars.
