This report summarizes two reports: the Bureau of Reclamation's "Alternative Sources of Water for Prototype Oil Shale Development (September 1974) and Bingham Engineering's "Water for Oil Shale, White River, Uintah County, Utah" (June 1975). It also discusses two other plans for providing water to oil shale lease tracts U-a and U-b. These schemes consist of a multipurpose dam and reservoir on the White River and a dedicated pipeline to deliver water from the Green River.
