There is no personal information on Dr. Moore in this collection, as it consists entirely of research files relating to Moore's two books on Erwin Schrödinger - Schrödinger, life and thought and Life of Erwin Schrödinger. The span dates of the collection include the dates of Schrödinger's publications, research, and correspondence collected by Moore.

Other family members represented in the collection include papers of his son, Walter Bedford Moore Jr. (1886- ), a lawyer who lived in Columbia (S.C.), that document his involvement with the Columbia Stage Society and Town Theatre.
