Cet ouvrage étudie la question du droit à une éducation de qualité pour TOUS et le relie à l'Objectif de développement durable 4 pour 2030, adopté par les Nations-Unies en 2015. Ce droit, internationalement reconnu, est-il reconnu et mis en œuvre dans tous les pays avec les mêmes critères et les mêmes normes ? Pratique-t-on en tous lieux une éducation inclusive qui permette à TOUS les enfants d'accéder à une éducation de qualité ? Des chercheurs d'horizons différents (Suisse, Espagne, France, Cameroun, République dominicaine, Colombie...) s'interrogent sur la prise en compte de ce droit fondamental pour les enfants, les adolescents et les jeunes, et en particulier pour les plus vulnérables d'entre eux. Ils font des propositions pour améliorer la situation et pour rendre l'éducation plus inclusive.

This book, Design for Sustainable Inclusion, was inspired and informed by the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. These include, among others, ‘good health and well-being’, ‘reduced inequalities’ and ‘sustainable cities and communities’. Addressing this challenge requires a cross-disciplinary approach and close collaboration with many stakeholders. The Cambridge Workshop on Universal Access and Assistive Technology (CWUAAT) 2023 invited participants from a wide variety of disciplines to contribute to the discussion on this topic. This book represents the papers presented at this conference, chosen by peer review by an international panel of currently active researchers. The chapters within the book provide a unique insight into current national and international research in the fields of inclusive design, universal access, and assistive and rehabilitative technology. This volume of essays addresses some of the most significant issues of contemporary international law. It particularly focuses on questions relating to international humanitarian law, the law of the sea, human rights, the use of force, international environmental law, and the settlement of international disputes. Recent developments in some other issues of international law such as State immunity and State responsibility are also dealt with. The Work contains a number of articles in French and is offered as a tribute to the prominent Iranian Professor of International Law, Djamchid Momtaz, on the occasion of his 75th birthday.

Inclusive education has aroused heated debate among teachers, parents, politicians, and the general public, yet for many involved and affected the basic concepts and real goals of inclusion are unclear or misunderstood. Presenting research by scholars from the Czech Republic, France, Norway, Poland, Canada, and Switzerland on education, democratic citizenship, and the inclusive philosophies and politics of various countries, Cultures of Inclusive Education and Democratic Citizenship examines and clarifies the cultural, professional, and political issues surrounding the implementation of inclusive education. The first section of the book examines the epistemology of the inclusive process. The second section compares the logic of inclusion from an international perspective. The final section explores concrete problems encountered in the different states represented.

L'inclusion scolaire a pris son essor depuis la proclamation de la Déclaration de Salamanque (UNESCO, 1994), où pas moins de 92 pays et 25 organisations internationales se sont engagés pour la première fois à oeuvrer pour le développement d'écoles plus inclusives. Plus de vingt ans après cette déclaration, alors que le nombre de systèmes scolaires inscrivant leur projet éducatif dans une visée inclusive augmente, le besoin de clarifier tant le concept d'inclusion que les conditions et les moyens de sa mise en oeuvre s'impose, et ce, d'autant plus que certaines représentations de ce concept tendent à s'éloigner de son essence et de son but originel. Cet ouvrage rend compte des travaux effectués au sein du Laboratoire international de recherche sur l'inclusion scolaire [www.lisis.ca] et fournit une contribution attendue au sein de la communauté francophone. Il propose des textes fondamentaux dans lesquels les auteurs présentent une synthèse de ce qui caractérise chacun des thèmes centraux associés à l'édification de systèmes éducatifs plus inclusifs : les fondements (le pourquoi), les acteurs (le qui) et les pratiques (le comment).
