Philip Mantle is one of the UK's best known UFO researchers. He entered into UFO research and investigation in 1980 when he joined the Yorkshire UFO Society (YUFOS) which had its HQ in the city of Leeds, West Yorkshire, just a few miles from where he lived. In later years he would go on to join the British UFO Research Association (BUFORA) and the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON). In 2015 he founded Flying Disk Press, a one man book publishing endeavour which has now published over 30 books. During his time as an active UFO researcher and investigator Mantle has been involved with a wide variety of UFO cases including UFOs caught on camera, alien abductions, a wide variety of UFO sightings, hoaxes and assisting in the analysis of debris from an alleged UFO crash. He is probably best known for his long running investigation into the Alien Autopsy Film hoax and the Pascagoula, Mississippi, alien abduction.
