This paper summarizes the work and results of the cooperative effort between the Tennessee Valley Authority and the Agency for International Development and other international organizations in fertilizer-related problems.

This evaluation identifies and quantifies many specific benefits of the TVA fertilizer program. These benefits will continue to accumulate. The study also shows that there are current and future opportunities for developing and introducing technologies whose impact on the fertilizer industry, the Nation's farms, and the national economy will be as great as the impact of developments in past years.
