Topical, wickedly frank, instructive...and frequently hilarious, Trans-Oriented is perhaps the world's very first romance guide for men whose sexual orientation is inescapably drawn towards transgender women. With everything a TGentleman will need to know about dating, friendship, romance, love, and sex with a TGirl, this comprehensive look at a seldom-examined world is jam-packed with information and practical advice. And it won't shrink from hitting readers upside the head with a 'clue by 4', either. The stereotype-shattering Trans-Oriented will be a revelation and an education, to those who share the orientation and to anyone interested in LGBT issues, human sexuality, or romantic relationships in general. Trans-Oriented, for all its hilarity, carries a serious and urgent message in defense of transgender women. Women who, Freel lovingly stresses, are not to be objectified, and who deserve the love and respect that must be the bedrock upon which any human relationship is built.

This is an extended version of my PhD thesis which extends the theory of finite element exterior calculus (FEEC) to parabolic evolution equations. In the extended version, I explore some more precise visualizations of the defined quantities, as well as explain how the modern theory of functional analysis applies. In the main part, I extend the theory of approximating evolution equations in Euclidean space (using FEEC) to hypersurfaces. After these main results, I describe some possible extensions to nonlinear equations. A few appendices detail one of the original motivations for getting into this theory in the first place: canonical geometries given as steady state solutions and extremals of certain functionals.

This book highlights current research and development in the area of sustainable built environments, currently one of the most important disciplines in civil engineering. It covers a range of topics, including sustainable construction and infrastructures, waste and wastewater management, enhanced sustainability, renewable and clean energy, sustainable materials and industrial ecology, building automation and virtual reality, and impact of climate change. As such it provides vital insights into responsible urbanization practices, and new tools and technologies in civil engineering that can mitigate the negative effects of the built environment.
