This book is a simple yet powerful book of poems ending each subject at a positive note. Lupus is an auto immune, connective tissue disease, to which there is no cure. It renders the immune system incapable of differentiating between good and bad pathogens. It causes the immune system to attack the hosts body, causing inflammation and breakdown of tissues, eventually causing multiple organ failure and death. Finding herself in this situation, Kays choice was to either seek Gods face or turn away. Being constantly reminded of Gods sovereignty through the many mercies and grace that she had received during the illness, she chose to have a close relationship with God, abiding in him daily. She finds comfort, and relief in knowing that God has providence over her life, and nothing touches her without first going through Him. She prays that as you read these poems you may be encouraged to seek an abiding relationship with the Lord.

Many people feel "sidelined" from our busy and preoccupied culture at some time in their lives, whether by unemployment, injury, illness, disability or retirement. Twelve Moons in One Night is a reflection of different points reached at various times within a year. A section within the tunnel of the life we must all individually walk down to find the key to the moon inside. From the different white noises within the halls to the time we sit all alone and wonder about the world, peoples actions, and views to the way of mankind. Happiness, sadness, and anger fill my mind within these reflecting views of the world outside. Changing different views is a hard concept to discover within ourselves and others. Twelve Moons in One Night is just a collection of my own thoughts from day to day caught within the spirits of the moon. At times we have all sat in the same tunnel of the mind.

My name is Samra Haq. I am fond of reading books, and writing poems. I am working at home and I have written 116 poems and posted 15 poems on different websites. I had participated in The World Poetry Movement contest in August 2011 in which my poem Life was initially nominated and then selected in a final stage. Then, I had posted two of my poems for this poetry contests. I have received 3 certificates of an achievement and 2 gold pins awards. These poems have been published along with the poems of other participants in a book format, by The World Poetry Movement. I am sure that these books will prove to be a good beginning of my career as a poet. My poems can be viewed on the website of Poemhunters.com by the name of Samra Haq. I write poetry when I get inspired by a situation. I am looking forward to publish my own poetry book of poems in upcoming future. This is also my dream. I am hoping for the best.
