Henry Roy Bentley, son of Calvin H. Bentley and Harriet Smith, was born 12 June 1877, in Oregon Township, Lapeer County, Michigan. He married Alice Matilda Grace, daughter of James Grace and Esterella Jackson, 7 Aug 1907. Their ancestors came to America from England.
