"The Spirit of the Veil ... Prophecy of the 7" is the second in the Veil Book trilogy where the past meets the present through real historical figures of great courage and conviction, such as Harriet Tubman and others. The first book, "The Secret of the Veil" introduces Alexis Ashley, a woman relocating from Chicago to Boston. On the drive, she experiences numerous frightening incidents: bridge washouts, sudden blizzards, a maniacal rabid dog. Upon arrival in Boston the incidents eventually escalate to a new terrifying level: encounters with satanists, visions from the past and more. She eventually leaves Boston for Atlanta and later, moves on to the Caribbean all in an attempt to outrun the deadly forces pursuing her; which she believes is connected to the veil (brith caul) that covered her face and had to be removed at birth. Through the ages, the veil is believed to bring with it certain spiritual gifts, such as clairvoyance. Along the way, Alexis meets six strangers who oddly becomes close friends. In the end, it is revealed that all of the crazy events were meant as instruction: to acquaint her with who she was, and who she will become; and to acquaint her with the warrior spirit she never knew she possessed. She learns that The Seven are on a spiritual mission that will impact the entire world. "The Spirit of the Veil ... Prophecy of the 7" picks up the story years later as The Seven are unearthed by the evil ones, and come under attack. A telepathic alarm sounded by Alexis will bring them from various parts of the country to The Refuge, a sanctuary built in the Georgia mountains for just this time. On the way they must each fight to survive deadly traps set for their deaths. In the book's "dream" sequence, we learn of dreams that reveal their past lives; some of the courageous, historical people they lived as; and their destinies. By the end of this book, The Seven are at war with the evil ones and the stage is set for the final conflict.

In this 2006 text, Daniel M. Gurtner examines the meaning of the rending of the veil at the death of Jesus in Matthew 27:51a by considering the functions of the veil in the Old Testament and its symbolism in Second Temple and Rabbinic Judaism. Gurtner incorporates these elements into a compositional exegesis of the rending text in Matthew. He concludes that the rending of the veil is an apocalyptic assertion like the opening of heaven revealing, in part, end-time images drawn from Ezekiel 37. Moreover, when the veil is torn Matthew depicts the cessation of its function, articulating the atoning role of Christ's death which gives access to God not simply in the sense of entering the Holy of Holies (as in Hebrews), but in trademark Matthean Emmanuel Christology: 'God with us'. This underscores the significance of Jesus' atoning death in the first gospel.

Many Christians think of end times prophecy as a gigantic, intimidating puzzle -- difficult to piece together and impossible to figure out. But every puzzle can be solved if you approach it the right way. Paul Benware compares prophecy to a picture puzzle. Putting the edge pieces together first builds the 'framework' that makes it easier to fit the other pieces in their place. According to Benware, the framework for eschatology is the biblical covenants. He begins his comprehensive survey by explaining the major covenants. Then he discusses several different interpretations of end times prophecy. Benware digs into the details of the Rapture, the Great Tribulation, the judgements and resurrections, and the millennial kingdom. But he also adds a unique, personal element to the study, answering questions as: -Why study bible prophecy? -What difference does it make if I'm premillenial or amillenial? If what the Bible says about the future puzzles you, Understanding End Times Prophecy will help you put together the pieces and see the big picture.

The Bible is accurate and without error! Demolishing Supposed Bible Contradictions Volume 2 offers 40 powerful explanations to prove it. There is an increasing focus in our culture on dismissing the Bible and its authority. Generations of skeptics and the religion of evolution have influenced even some Christian leaders. By highlighting supposed errors or inconsistencies in the Bible, doubt is created in the minds of believers and stumbling blocks are put up for those trying to present the Gospel. But Biblical evidence disproves the toughest of critics while bringing to light the indestructible power of God’s Word. Tim Chaffey, Ken Ham, and Bodie Hodge of Answers in Genesis highlight the answers to these debates and more: Is all Scripture inspired by God, or is some of it the opinion of the writers of Scripture? After His resurrection, did Jesus first appear to the eleven disciples on a mountain in Galilee or in Jerusalem behind closed doors? Can God be tempted? Why don’t Christians follow all the Old Testament laws? Demolishing Supposed Bible Contradictions Volumes 1 and 2 are must-have references for every believer who wants to have an answer to give to those who ask a reason for their hope (1 Peter 3:15). Join the battle armed with the sword of Spirit, the truth that will defeat the lies aimed for this generation and those to follow.
