Why would anyone think Jesus never existed? Isn't it perfectly reasonable to accept that he was a real first century figure? As it turns out, no.NAILED sheds light on ten beloved Christian myths, and, with evidence gathered from historians across the theological spectrum, shows how they point to a Jesus Christ created solely through allegorical alchemy of hope and imagination; a messiah transformed from a purely literary, theological construct into the familiar figure of Jesus ' in short, a purely mythic Christ.

Over the last few decades, celebrated theorists and philosophers have increasingly contemplated the future of humanity through a predictive lens--the meaning and purpose of our existence in light of the Bible's end-times narrative. Is it possible that ancient prophets actually foresaw how the world would come to an end and how final salvation--including judgment of the nations--would precisely transpire? In this wide-ranging and authoritative work, recognized experts from around the globe examine extraordinary developments currently playing out in geopolitics, science and technology, discovery, and even the supernatural, under the microscope of Scripture. The Bible, as we hold it today, is esteemed by many religious institutions and especially Conservative Christians to be the inspired, inerrant Word of God. This doctrinal position affirms that the Bible is unlike all other books or collections of works in that it is free of error due to having been "given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: that the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works" (2 Tim. 3:16, 17). While no other text can claim this same unique authority, the Apostolic Fathers included in this volume (also called the Ante-Nicene Fathers), covers the Early Christian writings from the beginning of Christianity until the promulgation of the Nicene Creed at the First Council of Nicaea, which was convened in Bithynia by the Roman Emperor Constantine I in AD 325. As such, writings contained in this volume of The Researchers Library of Ancient Texts (Volume Two: The Apostolic Fathers: Includes Clement, Anthenagorus, Mathetes, Polycarp, Ignatius, Barnabas, Papias, Justin Martyr, and Irenaeus), provides literature that follows the chronology of New Testament texts, which frequently are used or assigned as supplemental works within academic settings to help students and scholars discover or better understand cultural and historical context of the early Christian Church. These ancient texts provide commentators valuable insight into what many ancient Jews and early Christians believed when, "God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets" (Heb. 1:1). The Researchers Library of Ancient Texts is therefore intended to be a supplemental resource for assisting serious researchers and students in the study of the Bible and the early Church age. Contained in this volume: The works of Clement, Anthenagorus, Mathetes, Polycarp, Ignatius, Barnabas, Papias, Justin Martyr, and Irenaeus.

Recently some 300 exorcists flocked to Poland for a week-long congress to examine the current fashion for vampirism the world-over and the apparent connection between this fascination and a surge in demonic possession. This comes as the world is experiencing an explosion of ancient occultism combined with wicked fascination for ghosts and all things paranormal. In the United States alone, there are now more than two hundred thousand registered witches and as many as 8 million unregistered practitioners of “the craft.” On college and high school campuses, vampires, werewolves, and other “creatures of the night” are esteemed as objects of desire and idolized by young men and women who view them as cult icons of envious mystical power. Church goers are enchanted by the darkness as well. An April 13, 2011 article “Mysticism Infecting Nazarene Beliefs” was preceded only a few days before by a Telegraph article describing how a “surge in Satanism” inside the church has sparked a “rise in demand for exorcists” within traditional religious settings.” Why is this happening now? God’s Ghostbusters provides shocking answers in this collaborative work by Gary Bates, Chuck Missler, Gary Stearman, Thomas Horn, Nita Horn, Russ Dizdar, Donna Howell, Derek Gilbert, Sharon Gilbert, Michael Hoggard, Noah Hutchings, Terry James, John McTernan, Jeff Patty, Fred DeRuvo, and Douglas Woodward.

In the year 1620, the Mayflower set sail from Plymouth, England carrying more than a hundred hopeful, determined, and God-fearing individuals into an unknown future. Setting their minds on the promises of God and their faith in Him, they ventured into the unfamiliar as they placed their lives and those of their children in His hands.Little did they know that despite many hardships they would build the most powerful, inventive, industrial, and free nation that had ever existed to this point in history. For many, the nation was founded on God. The fabric that held the country together was woven with the blood, sweat, tears, fortitude, and faith of a generation who set their resolve and trust in the God of the Bible--and never looked back.America the Beautiful. The Strong. The United. The Innovative. The Independent.America, the "One Nation Under God."So, what happened? As a godless and seemingly aimless America faces decline unparalleled to any deterioration that previous generations could have ever foreseen, many now look around in astonishment and wonder what changed. Can America return to its glory days? If so, how?Join Thomas Horn, Christina Peck, Robert Maginnis, Donna Howell, Sheila Zilinsky, Josh Peck, Cris Putnam, Sharon Gilbert, Allie Anderson, Joe Ardis, and Derek Gilbert as this question is explored and discussed in When Once We Were a Nation.
