The purpose of this study was to examine the relationship between learning styles of culturally diverse practical nursing students and to determine if a relationship existed between learning style and culture. The sample selected for this research was a convenience sample which consisted of 46 practical nursing students in a day and an evening program. Seventy percent of the students identified themselves as members of minority cultures. The participants completed a demographic data questionnaire and Kolb's Learning Style Inventory (LSQ). The LSQ was used to determine leaning mode and style. The design is a descriptive correlational study exploring the relationship between culture and learning styles of practical nursing students. Data were examined using parametric and non parametric statistics. There was no significant difference for age, gender, race, or level of education across learning styles.
