We appeal 'to our Congregations, Sessions, Presbyteries, Synods, and Ge neral Assembly; we appeal to every communicant in our connexion, and ask, shall we, as a church, do nothing to furnish our vacant pulpits with able and faithful preachers of the gospel? Shall we pray, Lord send forth faithful and able labourers into thy vineyard, and do nothing more? Our prayers, in such a case, would be our condemnation.
