Abstract: The age old question of what a wife is worth economically is discussed. Twenty-five chapters endeavor to place a value on a wife's services and discuss new rules that should be applied to equitable distribution of family assets in the event of a divorce. By placing a value on these services, the author hopes to increase understanding and appreciation of the non-financial contributions made in a relationship.
