Hebrews and James contain useful advice for Christians struggling to live a life of faith. In this book, Frances Taylor Gench guides readers through these two relevant - and inspirational - epistles. For believers who have grown weary or disillusioned with their Christian commitment, the letter to the Hebrews offers much practical assistance. In this day of dwindling church attendance and clergy burnout, a new reading of Hebrews offers an encouraging and renewed understanding of the person and work of Jesus Christ. The letter of James deals primarily with the social and practical aspects of Christianity, reminding the reader that Christian faith touches every aspect of life. One of the most useful books in the New Testament, its concerns are grounded in day-to-day questions: How do we live? How should we live? and What are the implications of Christian faith for our lives? This epistle will challenge and encourage modern readers in search of a life of integrity.

Is The New King James Bible Just An Updated King James? It promised to be a 5th edition of the KJV, preserving "the originally intended meaning of every verse." Did publishers and translators keep their promise? Author David Daniels shows us in this book that the classical language (including the "thees" and "thous") is not all that was changed. In fact, this Bible is not a King James at all! Some of the "updates" actually change doctrines! “I’M NOT SAYING WHAT COULD HAPPEN. I’M SHOWING YOU WHAT DID HAPPEN.” – DAVID W DANIELS It cannot be a true King James, if salvation is changed from a finished work to an unfinished process (1 Corinthians 1:18). How can you know you are saved? Or in Matthew 7:14 where it says, "Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life…"? God did not make the way "difficult". Salvation is as close as our mouth and our heart! These tiny changes, as well as others like it, have made a big difference, moving people from faith to doubt in God and His words. But there’s more. The publishers of the New King James said, themselves, that their goal was to provide a “transitional bridge” to a modern Bible (and they sell plenty of them). As people get used to seeing words changed in their Bible, they soon will accept a Bible that changes even more! Eventually, you have a Bible with wording vague enough, in many key areas, that all the world’s religions will be able to “fit” their doctrines into it. This is actually part of the larger plan for everyone to accept one world Bible for the Antichrist’s coming one world religion. How do we counter this? By teaching our children how to read the clear words of the King James, we can bring faith and not doubt to the next generation. In fact, as you will see in this book, if previous generations had done this, the New King James would never have been made.

Many Christians claim to have faith in a Bible that doesn’t exist. That’s right, they say they believe the “original autographs” were without error, but they don’t have them! We need a Bible we can trust that we can actually hold in our hands. Here are 51 reasons why you can trust the King James. Be ready to give an answer! ----------- More: Our world is split between two camps: those with faith, and those with doubt. Right now, those with doubt are outnumbering those with faith. But God only blesses faith. It’s “the Christian faith” —not the Christian doubt. Are there reasons to trust that God kept His promise to preserve His own words? Yes! There are many. This book is a small collection of those. People have been finding, not only what faith looks like, but have actually made the move and left the doubting Bibles, with their contradictory doctrines, and come to the King James. There they found a consistent message, consistent doctrine, and a consistent faith. So they can hold the Bible up in their hands and say, “Thus saith the Lord! This is the words of God.” Trusting God’s Words Can Change Your Church! The result? An increase in holiness, faith, soul-winning, Christian growth and confidence in the Scriptures. With a surprising number of people professing a belief that we are living in the Biblical End Times, this lively 1902 deconstruction of the Book of Revelation is even more relevant than ever. Analyzing the final chapters of the Bible on a verse-by-verse basis-and finding much to be contentious about, particularly when it comes to other interpretations of the book-Bullinger reveals a powerful, devotional way to approach Revelation. British clergyman ETHELBERT WILLIAM BULLINGER (1837-1913) was one of the most respected Bible scholars of the 19th century. He is author of numerous works including Great Cloud of Witnesses and How to Enjoy the Bible.

Why are there so many translations of the Bible, and what is the difference between them? Does it make a difference which version you read? Are they all the same? In Defense of the King James Bible presents a clear scriptural argument for the unadulterated Word of God, which is unique to the King James Version Bible. To prove the originality and uniqueness of this particular translation of Scripture, the author devotes a majority of the study to the comparison of verses from the King James Version Bible and other translations. It is startling to discover the omission and perversions of Scripture that change the meaning of verses and sound doctrine. Journey with the author as he examines the Bible and Spirit of Prophecy to gain a deeper understanding of God's Word and its importance in preparing us for Christ's Second Coming.
