At the same that the leader of the USNA's elite magician unit, the Stars, traveled to Japan under the identity of an exchange student named Lina, the parasite incident wreaked havoc on the First Magic High School until Tatsuya and his friends saved the day and brought the incident to a peaceful conclusion. However, the parasite merely lost its first host and continues to wander this world. More importantly, it's found its next host-a humanoid helper robot. After copying Honoka Mitsui's behavior and patterns, the parasite has been reborn as Pixie, vowing to follow and serve Tatsuya. After learning more about parasites from Pixie, Tatsuya gathers Miyuki and the others to head towards the Aoyama Cemetery to fight against a new impending danger!

December, 2095. In exchange for Shizuku going to study in the USNA, Lina has been attending Magic High School in Japan. Tatsuya figured out her true identity as a member of USNA special forces right away but as soon as one mystery is solved, another breaks out. Right around the same time as Lina's arrival in Japan, there has been a series of attacks on magicians by something called the "vampire." But while Tatsuya and Mikhiko try to use old magic to discover the identity of this criminal, an assault on their school occurs!

Miyuki's classmate Shizuku Kitayama is on her way to study abroad. For magicians, this is normally impossible, since allowing the genes of someone who can use magic outside their home country's borders is tantamount to giving up national secrets. But it's allowed to happen in one case-exchange programs. And that's how Angelina has arrived in Japan from the USNA to study at First High. But it seems she's a part of something much bigger than a simple cultural exchange!

Looking at Miyuki and Tatsuya now, it might be hard to imagine them as anything other than loving siblings. But it wasn't always this way... Three years ago, Miyuki was always uncomfortable around her older brother. The rest of their family treated him no better than a lowly servant, even though he was the perfect Guardian, watching over Miyuki while she lived a normal middle school life. With his new classes and his position as acting student council vice president, Tatsuya is certain that this year for sure, he’ll be able to enjoy a peaceful time at school with his sister...until three freshmen form the elite Numbered families start raising hell in their First High debut!

Two months have passed since the nefarious events surrounding the latest Nine School Competition, and its cerebral counterpart, the Thesis Competition, is fast approaching. Helping out First High with the event, Tatsuya will surely have his work cut out for him even if everything goes according to plan. Of course, nothing ever does, which might explain the letter from Maya Yotsuba containing a curious request: to assist in the capture of Gongjin Zhou, one of the masterminds behind the recent Parasidoll incident. Tatsuya and Miyuki depart for Kyoto, where they'll have to keep their wits about them to safely navigate the hidden schemes and shadowy conflicts that lurk just beneath the surface of the ancient capital!
