The first workshop on detectors using xenon was held on 3rd and 4th of December in 2001, at Kashiwa-Campus of the Institute for Cosmic Ray Research, the University of Tokyo. This volume contains the papers presented at the workshop, discussing the basic properties, detector technology and experiments.
