Maou (the Devil King) has a suspicion about the mysterious child Alas Ramus, a wee lass who he and Emi (the Hero) have wound up parenting. During a supremely awkward "family outing" to the amusement park, Emi gets Maou to tell her the truth about their little girl. But when a chorus of angels shows up to settle an old score, Maou's revelation may not matter!

Maou (aka the Devil King) and Emi (aka Emilia the Hero) have arrived from another world--and now they're in high school! Things are crazy enough already with classmate Chiho's ongoing crush on Maou, but are these kids going to be ready when a little girl shows up on Maou's doorstep and calls him "papa"?

The fast-food joint that the Devil King calls his workplace has reopened, now with a hip café space upstairs--the perfect chance for the overlord of all demons to earn a few new certifications and work his way up to management. Meanwhile, Chiho, whose love for the Devil King remains doggedly unrequited, discusses ways with Emi to learn how to master the Idea Link, a skill that could let her telepathically communicate across worlds and call for help whenever she makes contact with a nefarious demon...or angel, for that matter. Suzuno steps up to serve as her teacher...but her choice of training areas (a public bath) leaves the others to question her sanity. It's the sixth volume of this low-wage high fantasy, where soap bubbles fly and everyone may come out less than squeaky clean!

Chiho has collapsed, and Maou and company have figured out that it must be the work of an Angel. The only thing left to figure out is whether they're holed up in Tokyo Tower or the Sky Tree. When the group finally finds whoever's responsible for hurting their friend, the ultimate Maou/Alciel combo is going to paint the town red!
