This is one of the most important books ever written on the clandestine world of the UFO cover-up. Grant Cameron and Scott Crain do more than demonstrate the reality of an extraterrestrial presence on Earth. Through tenacious investigation and impeccable research, they shine a light into the CIA, NSA, Air Force, Navy, and other inside groups that have managed this secret for decades. Their conclusion is inescapable and shocking: this is a secret that the insiders themselves struggle to understand and contain. "Government agencies, at various times, perceive a need to release some UFO information to the public. Some, definitely not all. How do they do it? Always via avenues that leave no one at risk. That means ensuring there is no direct connection between the agency and whomever is doing the actual releasing. It also means the necessity of mixing in some false information. It means, ultimately, to tell the truth, but tell it with a slant. Until there is a full disclosure of the UFO/ET reality, deniability will remain paramount to those in possession of this great secret." - By the authors, from the book's Introduction.

A never-before-heard firsthand account of a government insider's experience on the cutting edge of UFO exploration; includes a new afterword "Forget everything you think you know about UFOs - this insider's account exposes the reality... Packed with top grade information, insightful analysis and fascinating anecdotes, Alexander's interesting and controversial book sets the gold standard for titles on this subject." –Nick Pope, author of Open Skies, Closed Minds "Changes the playing field for both true believers and skeptics alike. Alexander strongly warns, be careful what you wish for when asking for presidential intervention. Success could set the field of ufology back decades." --George Noory, host of Coast to Coast AM While still on active duty in the U.S. Army during the 1980s, Colonel John B. Alexander, Ph.D. created an interagency group to explore the controversial topic of UFOs. All members held Top Secret clearance. What they discovered was not at all what was expected. UFOs covers the numerous cases they saw, and answers questions like: • What was really in Hanger 18? • Did a UFO land at Holloman Air Force Base? • What happened at Roswell? • What is Majestic 12? • What is the Aviary? • What does the government know about UFOs? • What has happened with disclosure in other countries? • Has the U.S. reverse engineered a UFO? • Why don't presidents get access to UFO info? UFOs is at once a complete account of Alexander's findings, and a call to action. There are no conspiracy theories here—only hard facts—but they are merely the beginning. Foreword by Jacques F. Project Blue Book was a U.S. government investigation of Unidentified Flying Objects - UFOs. One of the men working on the project was decorated U.S. Air Force officer Edward Ruppelt, and this book contains the findings. The ideas surrounding UFOs were stoked by popular imagination; flying saucers, alien visitation or even abduction, and strange phenomena such as lights or aircraft moving rapidly in the sky. Following World War II, the idea that aliens were regularly appearing in spacecraft, coupled with abundant reports of unexplained objects in the sky, prompted a series of investigations by governments. Project Blue Book was among the most notable, led by Josef Allen Hynek and staffed by officers such as Edward Ruppelt - both of whom were open-minded when identifying these unusual phenomena. Ruppelt's explanations are thorough, explaining what he and his team uncovered in detail over the course of 1952-1954. Finding nothing conclusive in support of UFOs as alien spacecraft, he quotes fellow officer Andy Flues: "Even taking into consideration the highly qualified backgrounds of some of the people who made sightings, there was not one single case which, upon the closest analysis, could not be logically explained in terms of some common object or phenomenon."
