Y., where her great grandfather was born. She will also learn that her grandfather was born in New York City, that her father was born at Flatlands, N. Y. and that she herself was born in Americus, Georgia. If her curiosity is further aroused to learn what blood is allied with hers, she will find by referring to the index of families, that 18 Macys, 11 Bunkers, a like number of Coffins, 8 Folgers, and representative of the families of Barnard, Star-buck, Paddock, Husseys, and over a hundred others, have at different times in the last three hundred years, married into the family; and following up her father's record, learns that she is a conglomerate of Coleman, Macys, Bunker, Coffin, Folger, Barnard, Starbuck and others.
