This is the story of man's first exploratory voyage to planet Mars. Axis Wade and his team of astronauts train for the trip to Mars on a Hawaiian island. After landing on the Red Planet, Axis is injured during a visit to the Cydonia Region near a giant red pyramid. He wanders off in the night and later meets what appear to be the unexpected inhabitants of Mars. He is taken to an underground city and is confronted by an Egyptian High Priest.
