This book has been considered important throughout the human history, and so that this work is never forgotten we have made efforts in its preservation by republishing this book in a modern format for present and future generations. Among the detectives are the Brady Brothers, one of whom is the fiancé to Alice, their translator. When some Chinese men enter carrying a mysterious box, Alice overhears them talk about a Chinese princess in the box. But due to the ensuing gunfight and a heavy fog, the group are soon dispersed. And afterwards, there is no sign of either Alice or the mysterious box and the detectives set out to unravel the mystery and locate their missing partner...
