While she was there, the son offone of the-mem-g bers of the states-general became so passionately enamoured of her, that be persuaded her to elope with him to Antwerp. In this city Mrs. Behn, through his means, became acquainted with all the measures adopted by the Dutch against England, before they were able to carry them into execution.
