Beyond all there is to manage physically on a healing journey, there's an emotional component with stunning influence over the entire process. Illness asks: Will we trudge a path of misery while trying to heal? Or will we engage the transformative opportunity and dig into the fertile soil of our thoughts, views, and emotions? Will we choose to learn about our magnificent human selves while uncovering the root of what is meaningful about life? Within the pages of this journal, self-discovery holds the hand of self-love. Both radiate the love and wisdom of insight offered by The Angel Within. Both illuminate what is possible. What Is Possible? It is possible to call the experience of illness higher through self-discovery. When we practice and develop acceptance, self-love, honor, compassion, and reverence for the simple, yet extraordinary, we encourage ourselves to level up.It is possible to reframe what seems impossibly challenging as profound, even sacred. You are being invited to a heavenly conversation. In this enchanting book of true miracle stories, written to share encouragement, love and wonder, angelic guides provide spiritual insight into the messages offered to you by a "found coin." If I told you that picking up the random coins you come across could add a whole new layer of depth and meaning to your life, would you find that hard to believe? I mean, really, is finding a quarter, or a dime, or a penny on the street a big deal? Yeah. It really could be. What if the coin, as you picked it up, gave you a sense of love and support that only your mom could give you, even though your mom''s in Heaven now? What if you suddenly felt able to let go of financial concerns that were plaguing you? What if every time you found a coin in a most unusual way you understood that you''d just been invited to enter a state of wonder, enjoy the life-enhancing benefits of that wonder, and were able to relax into the soothing comfort of divine reassurance? What if, from past experience, you knew that an oddly placed coin was sent as a loving reminder to take a step back and review what''s going on in your life? What if you knew the coin served as an affirmation that you''re on the right track? What if, over time, you came to believe that these remarkable experiences are actually part of ongoing communication from the divine realm? Would you feel less alone in this world? Would that add meaning to your life? It certainly has added meaning to mine. This book is the result of one long chain of events. I experienced interesting encounters with random coins and I began to talk to others about what had been happening. When I brought up the subject to those who''d already had their own unique coin encounter, they smiled at me knowingly, eyes twinkling, eager to talk about it, like we were part of some special club. Then, I wrote a post on the subject and put it on my blog. The post turned out to be some type of energetic call sent into the Universe to expand my awareness on the subject. I later learned that I''d opened up what the guides call "an energetic pathway." I began to record the information that was being "downloaded" to me with the inkling it was meant to be a book. The "download" was not just about coins. In addition to the meanings and possible reasons that people start to find coins in ways that are just plain hard to ignore, there was also an interesting blend of spiritual insight. Some of the reasons people find coins you''ve probably already heard of. Some of the reasons will surprise you... What are the coins you find trying to tell you? FROM THE BACK COVER: What if the simple act of picking up a coin could begin a heavenly conversation so mystical that it altered the way you view life? That is what happened to this author. In 2010, Kimberly Ahri began to find coins everywhere-every single day. This curious experience lasted for weeks, prompting her to pray for guidance and ask the question, "Is there meaning in finding coins?" The answer changed her life and initiated a wonder-filled journey that infused her spirit with hope during some of her most challenging times. Her journey also revealed spiritual insights and messages in the coins sure to help anyone feel more connected to the divine in life. This book is an answer to her calling: To share the information given to her so others may experience the same sense of encouragement and wonder. What if you could enter into a divine conversation that would give you a sense of love, reassurance, and comfort-every single time you find a coin? You can. And you''ve already been invited. **New blue cover replaces white cover 9/2018**

The cultural, scientific and legislative divide created by vigorous debates over the legalization of medical marijuana is giving way to a new synergy among community stakeholders across the United States. The goal is to improve access to medical marijuana for patients with refractory debilitating neurological disorders, cancer, and chronic pain as an alternative to ineffective pharmacotherapy and potentially addictive pain medications. The ultimate test of our nations resolve to ensure the welfare of our sickest patients is the enactment and implement of effective public health reform in the area of medical marijuana, also known as medical cannabis. This book evolved out of the present need for a definitive volume on the science and public health aspects of medical cannabis to fuel this national narrative. The ethnographic research presented in the concluding chapter was inspired by Professor Miriam W. Boeri and colleagues, at Bentley University in Waltham, MA. They examined views of community stakeholders including medical marijuana dispensary entrepreneurs, health care professionals, and patients in a state that legalized medical marijuana in 2013, yet there continued to be confusion and misunderstandings in the interpretation and implementation of medical marijuana guidelines during the period of policy shifts. Apparent gaps in policy development and implementation signaled the urgency for a comparison study addressing stakeholder views in New York State, where its medical marijuana program has legally dispensed the drug since 2014. The resulting pilot study was carried out in the Division of Health Policy and Management of the City University of New York School of Public Health. The research model incorporated ethnographic and grounded methodologies to detail the views of physicians, pharmacists, educators, patients, and entrepreneur stakeholders; with triangulation of data and application of dominant themes into a socioecological framework model to identify areas of public health policy reform. The findings of this study detail that New York, like other states that recently legalized the dispensation of medical marijuana, faces challenges beyond policy transparency, communication and education explicitly to improve the implementation process for applying and registering medical cannabis dispensaries, referring physicians, and qualified patient recipients.Ken Langone, Chairman of the Board of New York University Langone Health, and Steven Galetta, Chair of Neurology in the School of Medicine, where the authors is senior staff in neuroepidemiology, motivated him to pursue doctoral training in Health Policy and Management. The author has had the good fortune of interacting with thought-provoking medical students, neurology trainees, public health doctoral students, and professors who reinforce the high ethical standards in medical and public health practice and research. However, his patients still educate him in empathy and humanity. The author is grateful to his family, including his spouse Holly and sons Adam and Seth, who serve as his daily compass, encouraging him to take on projects that promote core values of medicine and humanity.
