This book focuses on current practices in scientific and technical communication, historical aspects, and characteristics and biblio-graphic control of various forms of scientific and technical literature. It integrates the inventory approach for scientific and technical communication.

ICCNT is the main annual computer and network research conference in Chennai that presents cutting edge research work. It will act as a platform for scientists, scholars, engineers and students from universities all around the world to present ongoing research and hence foster better research relations between universities and the computer and networking industry.

This workshop was designed to meet the needs of those currently involved in or are planning a nuclear programme involving research and/or power fission reactors. The workshop had a broad scope including not only fission reactor core calculations, but also safety, fuel management, waste disposal reactor licensing. The lectures and computer exercises covered almost all aspects of the operation of fission reactors.This workshop introduced participants to the methods currently used in fission reactor calculations and to some computer codes in which these methods are used.

Vols. for Jan. 1896-Sept. 1930 contain a separately page section of Papers and discussions which are published later in revised form in the society's Transactions. Beginning Oct. 1930, the Proceedings are limited to technical papers and discussions, while Civil engineering contains items relating to society activities, etc.
