An introduction to the Tamalpais Area Plan completed for Almonte and Homestead, Tamalpais and Tennessee Valleys offering some suggestions for the future of these areas. Before submitting the report to the Marin County Planning Commission in response to the county's new general plan for development and land use, the Tamalpais Task Force mailed it to Mill Valley residents asking for their feedback. The Tamalpais Task Force was comprised of the presidents of the Tamalpais Valley Improvement Club (Lute Bernard), the Homestead Valley Community (Larry Stockwell), and the Almonte District Improvement Club (Jerry Schneider).
