Take a look at the photo of the squirrel on the cover page of this book. Do you think the squirrel can eat that? From where do you think he's got the self believe, as to feel so confident to hold on to such a big meal? That photo highlights one thing, and that is: All that man will ever require to enjoy life and become success in finance, relationship, health and happiness is RIGHT WITHIN MAN. Now, how do you see life? Do you think that you can succeed in this life? Irrespective of what your perspective is - life is for the sole purpose of personal growth, success and happiness. The meaning you extract from what you see, hear and experience is not the whole truth, especially when these reflect unpleasant situations. Why? Because there is always two complementing sides to everything. Two sides that makes up the whole. Male or female, tall or short, clean or dirty, day or night, healthy or ill, single or married, alive or dead, and finally, rich or poor. It's 'I' alone who is, to a large extent, responsible for the kind of experiences which color 'my' life. Truth be told, 'I' determine the experiences by the way 'I' interpret and react to events. If you're ill, you can become healthy; if you're poor, you can become rich, and if you're single, you can become married - because there are always two complementing sides to everything. So, just because your life reflects a part of the two sides, does not guarantee that you will remain there. You can only remain there if you so chose to. Based upon what you see and experience, do not judge or pin your life to the half of the whole. If someone who was once poor, uneducated and without skill can become rich, then you can! If someone once ill and condemned by Doctors can become healthy, so too you can! If someone once single can find love and companionship, so you can. And if someone who in spite of the odds of environment and life's challenges can become successful and fulfilled, so you can too! There's absolutely no reason why they can, and you can't. Knowledge is the key! An understanding of who you are and why you have a desire to live your life in a particular way of choice is a must for you, if you are to enjoy a well rounded growth , success and a fulfilled life. It is for the purpose of that knowledge, that's why you have this book. Do give your concentrated attention to its study, for it holds the truth to life that will set you free. Thank you!

Learn to take ownership of your success, overcome self-doubt, and banish the thought patterns that undermine your ability to feel—and act—as bright and capable as others already know you are with this award-winning book by Valerie Young. It’s only because they like me. I was in the right place at the right time. I just work harder than the others. I don’t deserve this. It’s just a matter of time before I am found out. Someone must have made a terrible mistake. If you are a working woman, chances are this internal monologue sounds all too familiar. And you’re not alone. From the high-achieving Ph.D. candidate convinced she’s only been admitted to the program because of a clerical error to the senior executive who worries others will find out she’s in way over her head, a shocking number of accomplished women in all career paths and at every level feel as though they are faking it—impostors in their own lives and careers. While the impostor syndrome is not unique to women, women are more apt to agonize over tiny mistakes, see even constructive criticism as evidence of their shortcomings, and chalk up their accomplishments to luck rather than skill. They often unconsciously overcompensate with crippling perfectionism, overpreparation, maintaining a lower profile, withholding their talents and opinions, or never finishing important projects. When they do succeed, they think, Phew, I fooled ’em again. An internationally known speaker, Valerie Young has devoted her career to understanding women’s most deeply held beliefs about themselves and their success. In her decades of in-the-trenches research, she has uncovered the often surprising reasons why so many accomplished women experience this crushing self-doubt. In The Secret Thoughts of Successful Women, Young gives these women the solution they have been seeking. Combining insightful analysis with effective advice and anecdotes, she explains what the impostor syndrome is, why fraud fears are more common in women, and how you can recognize the way it manifests in your life.
