The study of the decay interactions of K mesons provides opportunity for gaining insight into the character of strangeness non-conserving, weak interactions. The three-body leptonic modes of Ksup>+/sup meson decays recorded in a xenon bubble chamber provide the basis for the investigation reported here.

The three-body leptonic decay modes of K-mesons was investigated extensively during the past year. The data indicate some interesting results which have not been sufficiently emphasized in the literature. In this analysis the present situation is reviewed, pointing out those models which seem excluded by the data and those which could be tested with additional experimental investigation. Three properties of the decay mechanism which were investigated are the spin and isospin symmetries of the matrix element and the dynamics of the interaction as shown by the form factors. (Author).

Results are reported from a Dalitz plot analysis of 17750 K/sup 0//sub e3/ candidates obtained in an experiment designed to study both the semileptonic and 3.pi. decay modes of the K/sup 0//sub L/ with high efficiency across the Dalitz plot.
