St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church existed from the late 1700's to 1924. In 1924 it merged with its branch Holy Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church and became known by that name. Lebanon Lutheran Church was the first branch to be organized and separated in 1851 from St. John's. Holy Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church was formally organized from St. John's in 1876. St. Luke's Evangelical Lutheran Church was organized in 1888. Around 1912, Holy Advent Church was created.
