Slave Narratives: A Folk History of Slavery in the United States, also known as the WPA Slave Narrative Collection, was a monumental collection of slave narratives compiled by the Federal Writers' Project of the Works Progress Administration between the years 1936 to 1938. The compete collection comprises more than 2000 interviews with ex-slaves or the relatives of slaves.

Unlike some other reproductions of classic texts (1) We have not used OCR(Optical Character Recognition), as this leads to bad quality books with introduced typos. (2) In books where there are images such as portraits, maps, sketches etc We have endeavoured to keep the quality of these images, so they represent accurately the original artefact.
