The bibliography contains 153 references to environmental studies (1960-1969) concerning the Polish Peoples Republic (POLAND). Forty-three of the items reference translations of Polish articles and are placed separately in the text. Five previously published bibliographies on the same area are also referenced. Entries are entered alphabetically by author and a Subject Index is included.

The bibliography was compiled as a by-product of the regular reference-searching that is one aspect of the normal workload of the Technical Information Section, USAF ETAC. Many of the abstracts herein were taken from the publications themselves, many others, or parts of abstracts, from Meteorological and Geoastrophysical Abstracts (Am. Met. Soc.), and others were prepared by members of the Technical Information Section of USAF ETAC.
