We have searched for exotic particles in p{bar p} collisions at 1.8 TeV in data taken with the Collider Detector at Fermilab. We review our published limits on W(prime) and Z(prime) masses, and on the scale of lepton-quark compositeness. We also report preliminary mass limits based on searches for leptoquarks, supersymmetric quarks and gluons, and exotic, stable colored fermions.

We present recent results of searches for new particles beyond the Standard Model at the Collider Detector at Fermilab (CDF). These include searches for heavy gauge bosons (Z(prime), W(prime)), leptoquarks and stable massive charged particles. For most of these particles we set the currently most stringent limits. 15 refs., 7 figs.

Between 1992 and 1995, the CDF and D0 collaborations collected data from p{anti p} collisions at (square root)s = 1.8 TeV. Recently, several analyses of this data have been performed in search of evidence for various non-Supersymmetric exotic particles. As no evidence for the existence of these particles is observed, confidence level limits are established for exotic particle predictions from various theoretical models. Analyses presented here include searches for Standard Model Higgs, technicolor particles, topcolor-assissted technicolor bosons, and flavor-universal colorons.

One of the fundamental roles of a general purpose detector exploring, by means of increasing luminosity, higher and higher mass reach, is to search for new particles and exotic phenomena. This is a continuing effort for the CDF collaboration, and will report on several searches using about 20 pb−1 from the 1992/93 run labelled {open_quotes}run 1a{close_quotes} and (approximately)50 of the 90 pb−1 so far from the current {open_quotes}run 1b.{close_quotes} These are mostly preliminary analyses, typically using a total of 70 pb−1. Our limits on SUSY using missing E{sub T} with jets as well as three leptons are discussed elsewhere; results from the D0 collaboration are similar. I will discuss searches for additional vector bosons Z(prime) and W(prime), second generation scalar leptoquarks, as well as a broad search for objects decaying into jet pairs, including b-tagged jet pairs. I will also describe two events which do not fit in comfortably with either the standard model or a phenomenologically motivated search.

The proceedings of this series of annual symposia represent an extensive summary of the experimental and theoretical status of high energy physics at hadron colliders. This volume discusses the latest results on top and beauty physics, QCD, electroweak physics and searches for new particles. The prospects of this field for LHC, Tevatron and Hera machines are also reported.
