Sammy is a sea star who gets washed up on a beach during a storm. He sees the stars in the sky and wishes he could be one of them. He meets a little boy who helps him to see that he is just as special as the stars in the sky.

Sammy is a sand dollar who loves to go on adventures with his friends, Stu the starfish and Lily the dolphin. One day, their adventure takes them too close to shore and Sammy is put in danger when a person takes him out of the water.
