Reprints extracts from two letters: one from Robert Foulis to an unknown correspondent regarding the Foulis Academy; one from John Jamieson to William Smith, dated 8 March 1832, recalling the Foulis brothers.

Asking for six copies of Douglas on the Muscles and announcing four recent or forthcoming publications: Thomas B. Chandler's The American Querist; Beauvais's Funeral Oration of Lewis XV; an edition of Richardson's poems "with the addition of an Indian Tale"; and an edition of Dryden's Original Poems; adding, in a postscript, "What of the American Querist do not sell, may be returned."
