This report is one of a series of technical appendices to the Report on the Big and Little River Basins Area Planning Study. The development and use of the flood model of the Big Blue River Basin prepared for this study is described. A summary of the study's history and the decisions that produced the format and content of the study and reports is included as well as a description of the scope of the study and reports.

This report is one of a series of technical appendices to, "Report on the Big and Little Blue River Basins Area Planning Study". It is a report on the methodology and procedures used in developing and verifying the groundwater models and their use in making some projections of future conditions. It also covers the gathering and processing of the geologic and hydrologic data used; a description of the basic computer programs employed; and details of the processes employed in calibration and verification of the models. Preliminary projections of future water table declines utilized by the Little Blue NRD are also included.
