This curriculum guide is intended to be used as a daily planner and companion teaching guide for the Young Adult fiction book, Reggie & Ryssa and the Summer Camp of Faery by Bo Savino. Each outlined lesson in this guide has been created to take one or more days to complete. Each lesson is designed with optional cross-curricular activities so that you may immerse the students into the study of the book, and relate the topics and themes to activities to create a lasting impression. Dependent upon your style of teaching, there are a variety of activities to choose from, including reproducibles, class discussion, quizzes, and activities. Very few of the activities require outside materials or resources to complete. A handful more may require outside data resources (library, newspapers, internet connection). There are 15 daily lessons and activity plans. Combined with the optional cross-curricular activities and reproducibles, you can select a combination to produce a Unit from 3 to 6-1/2 weeks, depending on what best suits your needs.
