A story about a family who grew up in a house hold where after speaking the English language with a foreign accent from birth to kindergarden. The family could communicate with each other well enough, but the child discovered that he was having difficulty understanding the teacher and his classmates and his teacher and classmate were having difficulty understanding him. The student talked this over with his parents when he returned home. One day he left a book at home that his mother knew that he would need on this day because they were having an opened book test. The mother was having difficulty explaining to the front office what she wanted and who she wanted to talk to. The mother called the teacher's name and the principal took her to this teacher's room. The mother, speaking the highly accented English language. Teacher asked her to slow down and speak clearly. When the mother spoke slowly and clearly. The teacher understood what the mother was saying much better. The mother, the teacher, the students, and the mother's child all realized at this moment that their problem with communication was solved. If they all spoke the English grammar slowly and clearly that they could understand each other.
