NEVER BEFORE PUBLISHED On the planet Celta, accepting a HeartMate can be the greatest challenge in the universe… Antenn, an architect hired to build a cathedral in Druida City, dares not think of his HeartMate. Even though he yearns for her, he’s taken steps to ensure she will be forever unknown to him. After all, how could he, a commoner who grew up in the slums, the brother of a murderer, be worthy of any woman? Tiana, a priestess, has her own fears about being a HeartMate. She's watched her friends struggle with such a stormy destiny. She's sure her HeartMate has never claimed her due to a terrible scandal involving her Family, and she's set aside hopes for love. Antenn's gotten the commission of his life. The cathedral will make him famous, but more, it will last for ages and prove to others he can contribute to Celta...if the controversial structure isn't destroyed while being built. Tiana, too, is an integral part of this process, but the villain who wrecked her Family is ready with firebombs. Can they trust each other in dangerous circumstances to succeed...and to love?

This book is a change from the first because there is more love in my life and in my heart and the past has helped me to grow into a better person. This project has been in the worlds for a few years and I have finally gotten to the point that the work was ready for others to read. I am now stronger, more able to deal with my emotions and able to adapt to new challenged that come my way. My poems are a way for me to deal with anger, grief, joy, pain and most of all heartache. I am hoping that everyone who takes the time to read my work will take something good from it and enjoy the time and energy that I have put into the poems and the book. These poems come from my heart and soul and the one thing that I can be sure of if nothing else, is that at the end of the day when the book is done and I am finished with my work, I can say that if one person reads it and likes it then I have done something worthwhile.

This is Volume One of the Bloodwin Saga Collection: PROJECT HEARTFIRE. This is an edgy, romantic, sexy story, a sci fi and psychological novel about a modern-day woman who is, by all contemporary standards, a great success. She has what her friends call the "perfect life" with a successful business career, great physical beauty (she is an ex-fashion model), the ideal husband, two beautiful children, a lovely house on a hill, a black jag convertible, and a cat and a dog. In one afternoon, during a secret high power business meeting on a corporate yacht, her reality is shattered. She finds herself engaging in unpremeditated extramarital sex with not one, but two men. But she cannot control herself. Something has taken hold of her will, her mind, her biochemistry. She would not behave this way otherwise. The situation proceeds to her intense love affair, rather obsession, with one of these men, while the other is desperately in love with her. She eventually discovers that she has become unwittingly hooked on a high tech drug which was developed to encourage humans to engage in sexual activity with clones and vice versa. What is going on here? Can she break her addiction? Can she fix her life? Does she know too many secrets about clones now? Are there clones walking among us now, today, all over the world? Read the novel and see. Genres: Science Fiction, Psychological Thriller, Romance.

Each and every day teachers show up in their classrooms with a relentless sense of optimism. Despite the complicated challenges of schools, they come to and remain in the profession inspired by a conviction that through education they can move individuals and society to a more promising future. In Teaching with Heart: Poetry that Speaks to the Courage to Teach a diverse group of ninety teachers describe the complex of emotions and experiences of the teaching life – joy, outrage, heartbreak, hope, commitment and dedication. Each heartfelt commentary is paired with a cherished poem selected by the teacher. The contributors represent a broad array of educators: K-12 teachers, principals, superintendents, college professors, as well as many non-traditional teachers. They range from first year teachers to mid-career veterans to those who have retired after decades in the classroom. They come from inner-city, suburban, charter and private schools. The teachers identified an eclectic collection of poems and poets from Emily Dickinson, to Richard Wright, to Mary Oliver to the rapper Tupac Shakur. It is a book by teachers and for all who teach. The book also includes a poignant Foreword by Parker J. Palmer (The Courage to Teach), a stirring Introduction by Taylor Mali (What Teachers Make), and a moving Afterword by Sarah Brown Wessling (Teaching Channel). Where Teaching with Fire honored and celebrated the work of teachers; Teaching with Heart salutes the tenacious and relentless optimism of teachers and their belief that despite the many challenges and obstacles of the teaching life, much is possible.
