The accessibility requirement of educational policies is a reinvention of schools beyond the education of students with disabilities. Accessibility or Reinventing Education studies the changes that have redefined the roles and missions of schools, by asking them to consider the obstacles to learning imposed on students – regardless of their particular characteristics – in order to make themselves accessible to the greatest number. This book examines the ways in which school stakeholders are addressing the need for accessibility to bring its principles to life on a daily basis. Particular attention is given to the strategies developed by teachers for creating accessible school environments, the conditions for mobilizing digital technologies, and the redefinition of relationships between teachers and their specialist counterparts. Finally, the new figures of "ineducablility", established because of the accessibility imperative, are considered, and a grammar of accessibility is proposed, setting the stage for accessibility in school environments and the implementation of inclusive policies.

With these inspiring autobiographical sketches, Jeane Schwarzkopf presents snapshots of an extraordinary life. From New York to the Hollywood stage, from rituals with native American elders in the desert to Rudolf Steiner's work in Dornach, Switzerland, from participating in Mikhail Gorbachev's State of the World Forum to meeting the Dalai Lama, from studying breath work with Stanislav Grof to shamanistic work with Alberto Villoldo, Jeane's life has led her to deep and profound experiences of the reality of the spiritual world. She tells how she has come to understand that we can awaken to consciousness in multiple dimensions beyond the awareness of the merely physical world, and how we can use our heightened awareness to help, to heal, and even to alter the course of events around us.

Through experiential exercises and careful reasoning, Uncovering the Voice provides a new, spiritually enlivened interpretation of the processes involved in singing. It develops knowledge of the essential nature of song, and summons us to work for the purity and preservation of true singing. First published in Germany in 1938, Uncovering the Voice disappeared under the weight of political events and the Second World War and was not republished until the 1970s. The new English edition of this classic work includes a biographical account of the author by Jürgen Schriefer, as well as previously unpublished photographs.
