This two-volume set of LNICST 411 and 412 constitutes the refereed post-conference proceedings of the 9th International Conference on Advancement of Science and Technology, ICAST 2021, which took place in August 2021. This book describes semiconductors from a materials science perspective rather than from condensed matter physics or electrical engineering viewpoints. It includes discussion of current approaches to organic materials for electronic devices.
