Piano Concerto No. 18 "In Classical Style" is dedicated to composer's friends, Olga Romaniouk Kuperstein and David Kuperstein, who are marvelous musicians and piano teachers. The concept of this concerto was to write something in classical style that would be accessible to younger students. This work in B flat Major consists of three contrasting movements: I. Allegro con brio, II. Menuet and Trio and III. Scherzo. It has been influenced by music of Haydn, Mozart and Beethoven. Young pianists will find this work quite engaging since it serves as a good showcase for technical skills ,and good expertise in classical style.
