Percy The Possum is a wonderful tale of a gentle marsupial in the wild. This story is written to enlighten children on the ways of the fun and carefree lifestyle of a possum.

This story is about Percy Possum and his friends Rocky Raccoon, Charlie Chipmunk, and Katie Kitty. They are diff erent and have fun in diff erent ways but they still remain friends and allow others to have fun in their own way.

He jumped out of his rocking chair. The moon looked so close. Percy reached out, trying to touch it. He smiled and shouted," I must call my sisters and friends. We're driving to the moon." He started for the door, singing, "Hello, Mr. Moon. I'll see you really soon. Tra la la, La la la, La la la, La La, hey!"

Percy the Possum and his family loves exploring and adventures. But Percy finds those funny creatures called humans, hard to deal with at times. Especially given they live in a big house in his back yard; Percy's tree house was there first, and he is not happy the humans have invaded his space. The humans are so inconsiderate and do not share resources, if only humans learnt to share and be nice like Percy. Percy would like all the human children in the world to know that there is plenty of room on earth for animals and humans. The humans need to learn how to share the space and respect the animals, and best of all have fun and adventures.

Grandma and Grandpa live on a big block in Bees Creek.They grow lots of different vegetables and lots of pawpaw plants. Percy the possum is nocturnal and plays all night, which makes him very hungry. Sometimes Percy has eggplant, sometimes tomatoes, sometimes capsicum, but his favourite is pawpaw.
