Crabb scrapbooks are his articles published in the Peoria Journal and Journal-Transcript. They are mostly short news items on Macomb and surrounding communities, with some longer articles of historical interest. Subjects most often covered are: politics and government, crime, civil cases, WIU, and sports. Added are "Leathernecks" scrapbooks 1938-1940. Also microfilm copy of a scrapbook by McDonough County Sheriff Paul Eakle, 1929-1934, with mss notes on police activities and newspaper clippings on criminal activity in the county, courtesy of Richard and Vera Cordell. An additional scrapbook (photocopy) of newspaper clippings, some presumed to be articles that Mr. Crabb had written for various newspapers.
