Have you ever wondered what it would be like to through caution to the wind and truly follow your heart? Well, as they say, be careful what you wish for; one woman found out when she risked everything to start life anew, and ended up surrounded by Italians. Not being of Italian heritage definitely complicated an already impossible situation, but was ultimately responsible for helping her find her true self in the kitchen. With unquestionable aversion to the path suddenly before her, the reader is along for a humorous ride as she immerses herself in all things Italian, while attempting to blend a family of her own. For her ambitious efforts she not only earns a place at the table, but ends up with an Italian table of her own and the family of her dreams. Included are some favorite recipes, entertaining language lessons, and her secret for blending families. A native Southern Californian, Jan Greco's educational focus was in preparation for positions in the accounting profession. While raising her family and attending college, she also did assistant teaching of math and English in elementary schools. For twenty years she was controller and office manager for her husband's prominent mechanical contracting firm. They closed the business several years ago, and retired to a very different, unstructured lifestyle in the mountains of Lake Arrowhead. The peace and solitude of such a beautiful resort became the catalyst for recording the amazing journey of her second helping in life. She and her favorite Italian now divide their time between homes in the desert of La Quinta, and a community across from the harbor in Dana Point. All their children have remained close and well within driving distance of either residence so the whole family can be together whenever she sets her Italian table.

In the mid-1960s an unknown Italian film director named Sergio Leone was given $200,000 and some leftover film stock, and he went to make a Western. With an American TV actor named Clint Eastwood and a script based on a samurai epic, Leone wound up creating "A Fistful of Dollars", the first in a trilogy of films (with "For a Few Dollars More" and "The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly") that was violent, cynical, and visually stunning. Along with his later masterpiece, "Once Upon a Time in the West", these films came to define the Spaghetti Western

Hunter Kerrigan, a superbly skilled and highly decorated Force Recon Marine Officer, and son of a former CIA Station Chief is aggressively recruited from the Corps to pursue a career in The Agency. After training at The Farm in Virginia, his first assignment is to find and terminate a former CIA agent and defector turned international assassin, code name Pisces. While tracking Pisces, Hunter faces ambushes by covert agents from three foreign governments. These attacks are peculiarly set up by his own agent runner, sensuous Samantha McGee and her two high echelon CIA bosses. While enmeshed in the hunt for Pisces, three of Kerrigan's former lady friends are hideously murdered with no apparent connection other than he had dated them in the past. The police in three US cities believe it's a serial killer, however, Hunter is convinced it's a means of revenge, and is Pisces' at his most evil. Hunter continues his tenacious search and termination mission, and while doing so becomes involved with a steamy Israeli Mossad operative, Dvorah. Closing on his target, Hunter then discovers that Pisces is also the murderer of his father years before in London. Further, Dvorah is assassinated for assisting him. After tracking Pisces through San Francisco, London, Pisa and the Amalfi coast, he finds the recurrently vanishing Pisces on the Isle of Capri under another alias and living with the widow of a man he murdered early on. Here the mission comes to an end...or does it? And Pisces is terminated...or is he?
