INSTANT NEW YORK TIMES BESTSELLER An edge-of-your-seat thriller about a group of retired Green Berets who come together to save a former comrade—and 500 other Afghans—being targeted by the Taliban in the chaos of America’s withdrawal from Afghanistan. In April 2021, an urgent call was placed from a Special Forces operator serving overseas. The message was clear: Get Nezam out of Afghanistan now. Nezam was part of the Afghan National Army’s first group of American-trained commandos; he passed through Fort Bragg’s legendary Q course and served alongside the US Special Forces for over a decade. But Afghanistan’s government and army were on the edge of collapse, and Nezam was receiving threatening texts from the Taliban. The message reached Nezam’s former commanding officer, retired Lt. Col. Scott Mann, who couldn’t face the idea of losing another soldier in the long War on Terror. Immediately, he sends out an SOS to a group of Afghan vets (Navy SEALs, Green Berets, CIA officers, USAID advisors). They all answer the call for one last mission. Operating out of basements and garages, Task Force Pineapple organizes an escape route for Nezam and gets him into hiding in Taliban-controlled Kabul. After many tense days, he braves the enemy checkpoints and the crowds of thousands blocking the airport gates. He finally makes it through the wire and into the American-held airport thanks to the frantic efforts of the Pineapple express, a relentless Congressional aide, and a US embassy official. Nezam is safe, but calls are coming in from all directions requesting help for other Afghan soldiers, interpreters, and at-risk women and children. Task Force Pineapple widens its scope—and ends up rescuing 500 more Afghans from Kabul in the three chaotic days before the ISIS-K suicide bombing. Operation Pineapple Express is a thrilling, suspenseful tale of service and loyalty amidst the chaos of the US withdrawal from Afghanistan.

Captain Charlie Hong and the crew of the Starseed are faced with an impossible choice: save a planet from its dying star or fulfill their promise of hosting a peace summit for a desperate system locked in a cyclical three-way war. Rather than choose who lives and dies, Charlie uses his bond with the Starseed to spawn a smaller, pineapple-shaped starship—the Pineapple Express—and sets out to host the precarious peace process. His vision clouded by guilt, heartache, and bong hits, Charlie doesn’t notice the dark forces stowing away in the shadows, ready to sow insanity, discord, and murder. INTERPLANETARY PRAISE FOR FAR OUT CHRONICLES: “★★★★★ Consuming one page per day was not only a healthy meal replacement, but it helped put the zing back in my mating rituals! “ — Duboo Fluboo, ranked #3 Used Transporter Salesman in the Warbler Zone “★★★★★ Since being published in our sector, the FAR OUT CHRONICLES series has become our planet’s currency, our only imported or exported resource, the founding document of our government, the origin of all our religions, and our species’ primary source of nutrients. Oh yeah, makes for pretty good toilet paper, too.” — Crytix Garbok, Supreme Leader of Annekc M’ecneret “★★★★★ It’s Agatha Christie meets Chewbacca meets that one time you ate the whole edible instead of just one piece because you didn’t read the label so you freaked out and your brain melted and suddenly you had all the answers to life in the palm of your hand but then you freaked out again thinking you were late for work but then you remembered it was your day off so you sat around playing video games and napping and by dinner time you felt pretty damn realigned with the universe. It’s like that, but it’s a book.” - ChatGPT’s AI-generated Review of Murder on the Pineapple Express Readers have compared Tom Sadira’s Far Out Chronicles series to Douglas Adams' Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy, Terry Pratchett ‘s Ringworld series, Grant Naylor's Red Dwarf series, Barry J. The Hawaiian Air Force met the attack of the Japanese on 7 December 1941. Redesignated the Seventh Air Force, its bomber units moved on to combat in the Pacific almost immediately. The Seventh Fighter Command, however, has held back to defend Oahu against air attacks that never came. The pilots of the fighter units frustrated at their static role, said that they were left guarding the pineapples. From the cadre of the original Hawaiian units they spawned two new fighter groups. Eventually, those fighter squadrons, a close-knit fraternity, began to garrison outlying island bases, and eventually saw combat in the Marshals-Gilberts, the Marianas. Finally toward war's end, they were flying long-range missions against Japan from Ie Shima and Iwo Jima. The lieutenants of 1941 were the colonels of 1945, and some survivors served until the Japanese surrender. 300+ colour & b/w photographs

INSTANT #1 BESTSELLER FINALIST for the 2021 National Jewish Book Awards SHORTLISTED for the 2022 Rakuten Kobo Emerging Writer Prize A collection of funny personal essays from one of the writers of Superbad and Pineapple Express and one of the producers of The Disaster Artist, Neighbors, and The Boys. (All of these words have been added to help this book show up in people’s searches using the wonders of algorithmic technology. Thanks for bearing with us!) Hi! I’m Seth! I was asked to describe my book, Yearbook, for the inside flap (which is a gross phrase) and for websites and shit like that, so… here it goes!!! Yearbook is a collection of true stories that I desperately hope are just funny at worst, and life-changingly amazing at best. (I understand that it’s likely the former, which is a fancy “book” way of saying “the first one.”) I talk about my grandparents, doing stand-up comedy as a teenager, bar mitzvahs, and Jewish summer camp, and tell way more stories about doing drugs than my mother would like. I also talk about some of my adventures in Los Angeles, and surely say things about other famous people that will create a wildly awkward conversation for me at a party one day. I hope you enjoy the book should you buy it, and if you don’t enjoy it, I’m sorry. If you ever see me on the street and explain the situation, I’ll do my best to make it up to you.
