She was also published in the Sparrowgrass Forum in 1991, listed in Who's Who of American Women, is an Orator/Writer for special events, and served as judge in Poetry/Playwriting for NAACP Act-So Annual competitions since 1990. A Mississippi native and Philo of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority and Chrysopoets, Carrie graduated from Hyde Park Academy, and has an Associates degree in Liberal Arts / Journalism from Kennedy-King College - where she graduated with honors and was a columnist for the Kennedy-King Press. Today she is a contributing writer for Info Magazine ' a Christian outreach publication.
