This book is an update of the 2014 edition. It presents a selection of updated and new indicators that illustrate the progress that OECD and G20 countries have made since the 1990s. For each indicator there is a twopage spread: A text page includes a short introduction followed by a detailed definition of the indicator, comments on comparability of the data, an assessment of long-term trends related to the indicator, and a list of references for further information on the indicator. The opposite page contains a table and a graph providing, at a glance, the key message conveyed by the data. A dynamic link (StatLink) for each table directs the user to a web page where the corresponding data is available in Excel(R) format.

This book provides measurement tools, including indicators, to support countries' efforts to achieve economic growth and development, while ensuring that natural assets continue to provide the resources and environmental services on which well-being relies.
