The CDF and D0 experiments at Fermilab's Tevatron have been actively searching for the Higgs bosons that appear in extensions of the minimal standard model. Here we present the results of searches for the neutral and charged Higgs bosons of the minimal supersymmetric standard model, as well as searches for doubly charged Higgs bosons that are predicted by other types of extensions. Up to 900 pb{sup -1} of Run 2 data have been analyzed and have provided no signs of Higgs boson production; these null results are used to set limits on Higgs production scenarios within the context of particular models.

The recent observation of the Higgs boson has been hailed as the scientific discovery of the century and led to the 2013 Nobel Prize in physics. This book describes the detailed science behind the decades-long search for this elusive particle at the Large Electron Positron Collider at CERN and at the Tevatron at Fermilab and its subsequent discovery and characterization at the Large Hadron Collider at CERN. Written by physicists who played leading roles in this epic search and discovery, this book is an authoritative and pedagogical exposition of the portrait of the Higgs boson that has emerged from a large number of experimental measurements. As the first of its kind, this book should be of interest to graduate students and researchers in particle physics.

We present results for various searches for signatures of standard and non-standard model Higgs boson decays conducted at the collider detectors CDF and D0 using (almost equal to)100 pb−1 of integrated luminosity each from the Tevatron collider Run 1 (1992-96) at (square root)s=1.8 TeV. No evidence for a Higgs boson decay is found and various limits are set.

The search for the Higgs boson is one of the main goals in High Energy Physics and one of the highest priorities at Run II of the Tevatron. There are many alternative Higgs boson models beyond the SM, including Supersymmetry (SUSY) and Fermiophobic Higgs bosons, which can actively be probed at the Tevatron, and in the absence of an excess constrained. The latest limits for several SUSY searches are presented in Section 2 and for the Fermiophobic Higgs boson searches in Section 3. More information on all these searches, along with the latest results, can be found on the CDF and D0 public results webpages. Results are presented for beyond the Standard Model Higgs boson searches using up to 4.2 fb−1 of data from Run II at the Tevatron. No significant excess is observed in any of the channels so 95% confidence level limits are presented.

In this paper a summary of present CDF and D0/ results on supersymmetry and Higgs searches at Tevatron is presented. Analysis include results from a variety of signatures: missing E{sub T} and jets (or leptons and jets) for squark/gluino searches, trileptons and missing E{sub T} for gaugino searches and, for the first time, charmed-tagged jets and missing E{sub T} as a new signature for stop quark pair production. We show also results for various searches of standard and non-standard model Higgs bosons in hadron collisions. The seeked signature is Higgs associated production with a vector boson. Different channels involve jets and leptons from vector boson decays and b-tagged jets or photons from Higgs decays.

This paper summarizes recent Higgs searches in p{anti p} collisions at √s = 1.8 TeV from the Tevatron using Run I data. Emphasis is given to a new result from the CDF collaboration in searching for neutral minimal SUSY Higgs bosons through the four jet reaction p{anti p} → b{anti b}[phi] → b{anti b}b{anti b}. Both the CDF and D0 experiments have also searched for standard model as well as other non-standard Higgs signatures in the mass region below ~ 140 GeV/c2 with no evidence of new physics.
