"Neuralgia and the Diseases That Resemble It" by Francis Edmund Anstie Francis Edmund Anstie was an English doctor, medical author, and journalist. His experience in the medical field allowed him the insight necessary to write about a topic as complex as neuralgia. Starting with a clinical history of the ailment, he then described it, including its complications, treatments, and methods of diagnosis. However, to create a thorough reference, he also wrote about many diseases that could resemble neuralgia to help promote accuracy in treatment.
